About Me
My name is Darryl Burma and I have a passion for technology & design, you could say I’m beyond creative obsession. I was born in 1978, yes I’m a 70′s child, and for as long as I can remember I’ve always been fascinated by art and design.
I’ve been working online for over 14 years now and my online & graphic design career began in 1998. I’ve been involved in website design & development in one form or another since before most people had even heard of the Internet, let alone had access to it. The first time I ever visited a website I just had to know how it all worked and began dissecting source code and learning the ropes of what it takes to have an online presence. You could say I’m a bit of an online and design guru of sorts and I’m mostly self taught.
My first ever website back in the day was a tribute website to my favorite rock band Pearl Jam using Geocities. For those of you who have never heard of Geocities well let’s just say it was the best free website building service of its time, the first of its kind, and also what lead to the birth of most original webmasters in the early days of the Internet.
Over the years I have helped literally hundreds of clients obtain & maintain a successful online presence. It’s what I do best and I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else. For more than a decade I’ve been involved with almost every area & aspect you could imagine when it comes to working online and have worn many hats so to say. Whether it be marketing, design, branding, writing, coding, social networking, blogging, SEO, you name it, I’ve probably had experience with it. Of course my main skill above all else is designing.
